The One & Only Botox

The BOTOX Cosmetic brand got a makeover. Now it needed a campaign to go along with it.

My partner and I got a call to generate some quick, high level ideas for BOTOX. So, we jammed and narrowed it down to three big ideas. We presented all three to the clients and the next thing we knew, the campaign was sold and we had won over even more work for the agency. The idea that prevailed was that there are so many shots that can freeze your face these days. However, no one has the legacy (or clout) that BOTOX does. So, we doubled down on that and created the One & Only campaign that highlighted the fact that it’s the most trusted and OG neurotoxin out there. We did that with the help of real women and men in all stages of their lives who signed up for some BOTOX. We also looked at things through a beauty/fashion lens in a world where legal and pharma tropes are the norm.

At the top, we created a vibe film that featured all of our cast members. These are meant to be more “manifesto” like to introduce and drive the entire campaign. Next we created a multi-cast film that dives a bit more into who these people are. Then we made individual spots for all six key cast members to tell even more of their story as well as what makes them the one & only.

We even created an ongoing social series “64 At Your Door” to get deeper into the lives of some of our cast members and offer consumers insight into the process of getting Botox.
